Privacy
Using the site without an account
You can swipe names without giving us anything. When you start a session we create an anonymous session record with a random six-character code, and we store which names you swiped and how. We do not ask for your name, your email, or your due date.
If you create an account
We store your email address, a hashed password, and optionally your name. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; we never store or see the password itself. If you fill in the optional profile fields (gender, birth year, country) we store those too. You can leave them blank.
Cookies
We set one session cookie so the site knows which swiping session is yours. It is marked HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and it is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- We do not email you unless you explicitly ask us to send your results.
Aggregate statistics
Name pages sometimes show how many visitors liked a name. Those figures are counts only - they cannot be traced back to an individual session or account.
Deleting your data
Signed-in users can delete any session from their profile, which removes that session's swipes permanently. To delete an entire account, email us and we will remove it.
